Will you lend on a property in a rural area? Alli Parkinson
Probably not. We lend in MSAs (Metropolitan Statistical Areas), and those are generally going to exclude rural areas. Trying to flip a house in a rural area is risky. There is a smaller pool of people looking to buy there than there would be in a urban or suburban area. It can also be difficult to find evaluators in the area to complete the required evaluations.
You can find up to date maps of our lending areas here.
