Will you lend on a property with well water? Alli Parkinson
We will not lend on a property with only well water unless it has the ability to be connected to public water for $5,000.00 or less.
If the well is in good working order, it does not have to be connected, but it must have the ability to be connected.
If the well is not in good working order, the property would have to be connected to public water.
Wells have a limited lifetime, and the time and cost of ensuring a well is sound and still has life expectancy can be prohibitive.
